The chalet is located approximately 200 meters from the U Slona ski area. Within the area, you will find the lower station of the chair-lift(666 m above see level), a bobsled track, a snow park and a crossover track, a funline, and also an evening sledging track. The U Slona chalet features a restaurant, an outdoor terrace with seating, a children´s playground, an aprés-ski bar, and a rental service for skis,snowboards, and ski touring equipment. The Sněžník ski -area, wich includes the Vista wellness hotel, can be reached from the chalet by following the Stamichman nature trail, at a distance of approximately 2 km.Within the area, you can experience an adrenaline ride on the Mammoth mountain coaster, which stretches 3 kilometers in length. It is the third largest pumped storage power plant in the world and the highest-altitude water reservoir in the Czech Republic. Tours are available upon reservation. In summer, you can also enjoy a ride on rented scooters from the upper reservoir down to Kouty.
The Morava River originates beneath the peak of Kralický Sněžník. Although the Morava River is considered the artery of Morava, it is interesting to note that its source is in the northeastern corner of Bohemia.
